Graduate Asset Planner - 3 Waters
We are looking for a graduate with skills relevant to asset planning (e.g. engineering, science, business), preferably with experience of the water industry. This role is a 12-month, fixed term contract.
It's an exciting time to work in the three waters sector: nationwide changes to the way drinking water, wastewater and stormwater services are regulated and delivered are underway and we have some big projects and decisions coming up. We are seeking a positive, proactive and personable person to join our team.
You will be part of the team responsible for ensuring that water, wastewater and stormwater services are delivered to our communities in a cost effective and sustainable manner now and in the future. You will be working in a collaborative environment to help drive the future direction of 3 Waters for Dunedin. This includes championing best practice asset management, analysing data, managing risk and developing asset management plans.
Ideally you will have strong analytical skills, an ability to think strategically, excellent communication and a strong understanding of asset management. Experience in the water industry is preferable, but not essential.
