Bookings Coordinator - Parks and Recreation Services
We are looking for a permanent full-time Bookings Coordinator in the Parks and Recreation Services team.
The Bookings Coordinator is responsible for providing a professional, efficient and effective service to customers wishing to book sports grounds and other Parks and Recreation Facilities. It is essential clear processes are established to enable the effective oversight and operation of a reliable system of booking to meet agreed customer needs. In addition to provide excellent customer service externally, the role will be responsible providing advice to various internal stakeholders e.g., Parks Operations, Asset & Commercial, Parks Planning and other departments including Events and Customer Service.
Additionally, it requires a close working relationship with user groups, contractors, and colleagues to establish and maintain clear, fair and reasonable levels of service, access agreements and systems for dealing with emergencies, cancellations and changes to schedules. The position will also be responsible for the oversight of timely and accurate invoicing of all facility use.
You will be working in a team environment to help drive the future direction of Parks and Recreation for Dunedin.
Ideally you will have strong communication and system skills, experience in customer service with an ability to form collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
Parks and Recreation comprises aquatics services, botanic gardens, cemeteries and crematoria, parks and reserves.
Salary range: $53,848 - $63,351
