The Dunedin Public Libraries has a vacancy for an outstanding Administration Assistant to provide secretarial and administrative support for its library network.

The role includes word processing, reception, minutes taking, sourcing stationery and consumable supplies, social media posting and general administrative duties as well as daily monitoring of staffroom facilities and responsibility for cash receipting.

The successful appointee will need to have extensive office administration experience, word processing and social media skills as well as well-developed interpersonal skills.

This is a rare opportunity to join one of Dunedin's most heavily used and valued cultural facilities.

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.00pm (37.5 hours per week)

Salary Range: $45,562 - $53,602
