Asset Planning Business Analyst

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a great attitude to join our 3 Waters team as a Business Analyst to work in Asset Planning. You don't need specific experience in the water industry, however it is important to have a genuine interest and commitment to learning about Dunedin's 3 Waters business.

You will be responsible for developing and providing advice on 3 Waters systems, information and process frameworks, to meet both current and foreseeable future needs. You will be working in a collaborative environment with staff from across 3 Waters, our contractors and other council departments especially DCC Business Information Solutions (BIS) team to ensure there is fit for purpose asset data and information and that systems meet the needs of 3 Waters. This role provides the opportunity to leave a legacy of positive change across 3 Waters.

Ideally you will have strong business analysis skills, an ability to think analytically, excellent communication, and an understanding of business processes. Experience in asset management or 3 Waters (water, wastewater and stormwater) is preferable, but not essential.

You should have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work across a broad spectrum of stakeholders. A change champion with high professional standards.

Salary range: $83,507 - $98,243
