Case Manager - Housing Development
30 hours per week, fixed term until 30 June 2021
Increasing the quality and quantity of housing within the city is critical to meet Dunedin's predicted population growth, and the community's current and future economic and social wellbeing needs.
The Case Manager - Housing Development acts as a key DCC liaison between people / groups wishing to develop sleeping accommodation that contributes to reducing the city's current and future housing shortage. The successful person appointed to this new, fixed term position will work with internal staff and a range of external stakeholders to ensure there is wide understanding of the role Council can play in assisting housing development. The role will support external stakeholders in navigating the Council processes for approvals, building and resource consents, licenses, etc. It will also assist in identifying external funding / resource links for those developing housing.
A minimum of three years' experience in the service delivery/customer service industry in or across Council departments such as Building, Planning, Transport, Water and Waste is essential.
