Property Services (Property Management) - Undergraduate Intern

Dunedin City Council is currently seeking applications from undergraduate students who are looking for employment relevant to their area of study during the summer months (November to February).
We are looking for intern support for our Property Management area within Property Services.
This role would suit someone who is heading into the world of property management or property law. This role will include exposure into leasing, acquisition and disposal practices, and tenant relationship management. In this role you will get the chance to liaise with various tenants, learn about the Council's property portfolios and be involved in property management practices. This would suit a student who is working in the areas of property management, commerce or law.
Key skills include:
- Process Mapping
- Understanding of leases and property law
- Data management
We need computer literate team players, with a 'can-do' positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn. Successful candidates will currently be enrolled in tertiary studies and will have the opportunity to work within a relevant department within the council. Salary: $42,186 per annum (pro-rated)
