Property Services (Asset & Facilities Management) - Undergraduate Intern

Dunedin City Council is currently seeking applications from undergraduate students who are looking for employment relevant to their area of study during the summer months (November to February).
We are looking for intern support for our Asset and Facilities area within Property Services.
This role would suit someone looking to head into areas of asset and facilities management. Knowledge of building mechanical systems, maintenance regimes and design considerations would be an advantage. You will get the chance to see and learn about various facilities that the DCC owns and operates, liaising with contractors, and applying principles of asset management. This would suit a student who is working in any of the trades, asset management, or facilities management.

- Planning skills
We need computer literate team players, with a 'can-do' positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn. Successful candidates will currently be enrolled in tertiary studies and will have the opportunity to work within a relevant department within the council. Salary: $42,186 per annum (pro-rated)
