We are looking for someone to work in our busy City Library to help shelve returned Library items.
Your responsibilities will include shelving books and other materials in correct Dewey and/or alphabetical order, identifying materials which need repair and discharging returned items.
Ideally you will have NCEA Level 2 and some shelving experience although applicants with related skills will be considered for on-the-job training.
You must possess good literacy and numeracy skills, the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and be reliable, methodical and accurate.
Good communication skills, a friendly personality, and the ability to work unsupervised are essential.
11 hours of work per week, to be worked as follows:
- 3.00pm - 5.00 pm Monday to Wednesday; and
- 3.00pm - 5.30 pm Thursday and Friday.
