The Dunedin City Council's Transport Group is responsible for the planning, development, operations, and maintenance of the City's roading network. We are looking for a Data Technician to join our Asset and Funding Team.
You'll be working as part of a small team managing a database containing more than 140,000 assets. Your job will be to process updates to our asset records following the completion of physical work. You'll need to ensure that information is provided to the team in a timely manner and make sure that the information is accurate. This means not just processing the data provided to you, but questioning it when it doesn't make sense.
This is a job which will take you out of the office on a regular basis as you verify that the information we have in the database matches what is actually on the road. Accurate asset data is a vital part of our renewals planning so we need someone with a good eye for detail. Experience working with RAMM or a similar asset management database would be an advantage.
So if you want to kick start or further your career in asset management, are eager to be part of a great team, and have the drive and motivation to succeed, then we look forward to hearing from you.
Salary range: $50,612 to $59,544
